A little about me

I'm new to blogging, but this space is more for me to keep track of myself.

I have been on an 8-week journey to this point. I have lost 5 pounds. I still have 40 to go. I have been fighting with my weight for many years now and i just need to get into shape. I go to the gym 2 days a week. While there I do cardio and resistance training. I recently purchased a Leslie Sansone's walk at home video. I have done 1 mile using it. I plan to do more. my goal is to use the video 3 days a week and do a full three miles each time. I realized I need to work up to this. She works HARD in the video.

I have two great boys, and they are the second reason I am trying to get fit. One is 11 the other is 2, almost 3. They like or me to play with them outside and I am just too far out of shape for it, so I'm working on getting better.

My husband loves me just how I am and just wants me to be happy with me. (love him!!!)

My main reason for wanting to get into shape is so I will be okay looking in the mirror. I don't like what I see, so I am working on fixing that.

  1. Aww! You should love you for who you are first. If you do not, then losing the weight wont make things better. Dr Phil says so. LMAO.... But seriously! You are an awesome person!!!! So love that, and take care of the temple!! If you dont take care of your body, who will?
